We see ourselves as less beautiful or handsome, less sociable, less wealthy, less intelligent, and so on. Low self-esteem happens because a person focuses only on their shortcomings, but cannot see or be grateful for their own strengths. . When we are drowning in low self-esteem, we forget that all human beings are God’s creation alike. God designed us wonderfully and for a wonderful purpose as well. So, by having low self-esteem, we are indirectly opposing and belittling the Creator Himself. This is why low self-esteem is actually a form of pride. .
