On August 16-18, 2019, single leaders from churches across the archipelago gathered in Jakarta to attend the conference Single Leaders Conference (SLC) with the theme “God’s Masterpiece.” This event was attended by around 500 single leaders from various regions in Indonesia.
This SLC began on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Menara Kuningan. After registration and dinner, the first session began. Rev. At Anerson spoke about, “A New in Christ”. He reminded us that we are God's instruments to introduce people to God.
The SLC event that day closed with Praise & Worship led by Bekasi Gospel Project (BGP), which was welcomed enthusiastically by all SLC participants.
On Saturday morning, the participants had already gathered at Menara Kuningan at 9:00 a.m. They hadfellowship while enjoying the snacks that had been prepared by the conference committee.
The schedule that day was quite full, with four teaching sessions shared throughout the day.
Session I: A Life Worthy of Calling (Rev. Harliem Salim)
Session II: Making The Most of the Opportunity (Rev. Budi Hartono)
Session III: As Each Part Does Its Work (Rev. Danang Istitoro)
Session IV: Stand Your Ground (Rev. Kharisma & Rev. Yance)
These four sessions reminded us to become effective leaders centered on God, who are willing to keep persevering and striving for God.
The last day of this conference took place at Dufan, also known as Dunia Fantasi. The SLC participants attended the worship service at 9:00 a.m. at Dufan and listened to a sermon with the theme, “God’s Masterpiece” delivered by Rev. Franky Lumenta. The conference closed with sharing from several conference participants about what they had learned. After that, they had free time at Dunia Fantasi.
Before they knew it, time had both brought them together and separated them. They returned to their respective cities, but with renewed spirit and mindset. Each of us is His masterpiece. We are very precious in God's eyes. He created us for His great purpose, to become extraordinary followers of Christ who are able toimpact many people wherever we are.
