II. THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD
Day 15
GOD IS WISE
Romans 16:27, "to Him, the only wise God, through Jesus Christ; be glory forevermore!"Many people like to receive advice from others they consider wise. In the New Testament, three times the Lord is referred to as the God who is full of wisdom, namely in Romans 16:27, 1 Timothy 1:17, and Jude 1:25. This means that human wisdom cannot compare with God’s wisdom, and therefore we should receive guidance and counsel through His Word
Verses for Reflection:
Job 12:12-13, "It is said that wisdom is with the aged, and understanding with those advanced in years. But with God are wisdom and might; He has counsel and understanding."
Daniel 2:20-22, "Daniel said: "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His! He changes times and seasons, He removes kings and sets up kings, He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; He reveals deep and hidden things, He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him."
1 Corinthians 2:15-16, "But the spiritual person judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one. For: "Who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may counsel Him?" But we have the mind of Christ."
