About Us
As the name suggests, Campus Ministry is a community for college students. If you are currently in college and looking for a spiritual community in which to grow, take a look at this one.
The college years are one of the most fun. Agree? Yet, this brief season is also an important one. In this phase, some people only go through college life. However, there are also those who have greater responsibilities, so they study while working. They are usually in the 17-24 age range. They are very energetic, creative, idealistic, and also independent.
This is a transition from being a student to becoming an adult. They need a lot of guidance so that they do not make wrong decisions. They need role model the right ones who can guide them to stay on the right path.
They need God's word to shape them into people of character who fear God.They need a place where they can channel their ideas and aspirations positively. So, because of the needs above, this Campus Ministry is why we formed it.
This Campus Ministry is not only a community that is fun, but also spiritual, positive, productive, inspiring, and also challenging. Let's get to know this community better!
Campus Ministry: ZEAL!
Campus Ministry is a student community full of zeal and love for God. They strive to give their best in their studies. Besides that, they pour their great energy and enthusiasm into positive things.
However, this community is also very family-oriented. They help one another and become light and inspiration for the people around them. They learn, create, and give their best through what they do.
Everyone here has a mentor or guide, who will help direct them. Sometimes, they want to do so many things that they need direction to focus on the most important things first.
ZEAL! This is the right word to describe Campus Ministry.
According to the dictionary, the word “zeal” means great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective—extraordinary energy or enthusiasm in pursuing a goal.
In Campus Ministry, ZEAL they are channeled into spirituality, fellowship, and mission. ZEAL covers not only the spiritual side, but also academics. They inspire fellow students through good academic results. They learn to manage their schedules so that their ministry or social activities do not disrupt their studies. ministry trains them to become young leaders who fear God and are able to make a positive impact on society.
Besides having tons of fun activities, the students in Campus Ministry are also close to one another like a family. They can be themselves, and they model and support one another's growth. They learn to love others like Jesus, with a love that is unselfish and expects nothing in return.
Within this family, they also grow in character. Everyone learns not to be selfish. Instead, they are taught to correct one another, learn from one another, guide one another, and support one another.
ZEAL summarizes its missions in the PILAR:
P : Fellowship of the Spirit
Discussion of the word and prayer are held according to what is written in Ephesians 4:3.
I : Intentional Mentoring
Spiritual mentoring is carried out intensively according to Hebrews 13:17.
L : Develop Gifts
The talents God has given them are developed through worship and ministry (Romans 12:6-8).
A : Overcome Obstacles
They work shoulder to shoulder and support one another in overcoming life's problems.
R : Reach Souls
They carry out the commission of Jesus Christ to preach the gospel to everyone. (Matthew 28:18-20).
Activities
The activities of Campus Ministry include:
Spend Time
In Spend Time, they communicate one-on-one to encourage one another, build faith, and learn to dig into God's word in relation to personal life (Hebrews 3:12-13).
H20 (Healthy Hang-Out)
As the name suggests, in H20 they gather together to eat, watch movies, and play games together. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Bible Talk/Bible Discussion Fellowship (BDF)
At Bible Talk, they enjoy warm fellowship while discussing God's Word and how to apply it in everyday life.
Zeal Night
There are many exciting activities at Zeal Night, including worship night, talk show, praise and worship, games, and also eating together.
Sport Day
Through Sport Day activities, they exercise together, for example futsal, basketball, badminton, or traditional games.
