About us

Being single or unmarried is a valuable and enjoyable season. It is a time when they have the greatest freedom compared to other stages of life. Yet in this season they are also learning to be adults for the first time. Their school and college years have passed, and they will learn to be mature and responsible for themselves. This is the moment when they enter real life in the truest sense. 

Being single is known as a productive season. When people enter this stage of life, they begin working to support themselves and often their families as well. They have to adapt to the working world. They begin managing their own time and finances. In this season they also begin preparing themselves for the next stage, namely marriage. They start building friendships with many people and begin looking for someone to become their life partner. 

Because of the complexity of this single world, they also often find themselves facing various problems connected to their stage of life. As a result, they often do not know how to live through this season with excellence. They need guidance, role models, and also the word of God to serve as their guide in life. They need a positive community where they can be themselves without being judged.

Young, Spiritual, and Dynamic

Singles & Professionals Ministry is a spiritual community that is young, spiritual, and dynamic for single or unmarried professional workers and entrepreneurs. These people come from various backgrounds, such as social, age, cultural, educational, and economic backgrounds. 

Single Ministry embraces singles in a community that follows the teaching of God's word and emphasizes relationships with one another. Through this ministry , singles can help one another not only to succeed in professional life, but also in spiritual life.

These singles strive to love God in their work and also in their daily lives. They strive to glorify God's name through their work by being a light like Timothy, who was a light through his speech, conduct, love, faithfulness, and purity. We also equip every single with the right values in dating relationships, so that they can build a family in accordance with God's will.

There are many challenges they face. It would be hard to face them alone. But with the support of friends going through the same season, it becomes lighter and more enjoyable. In this community, they can talk about everyday life, as well as more personal experiences, without fear of being judged. 

They can share with one another about the struggle to overcome sin, deal with spiritual weaknesses, and face life's problems. They also often find that many people in this community actually have similar problems. They can struggle together and  share tips and tricks for resolving those problems. 

And most importantly, they do not focus only on problems. They strive to help others. They are also passionate about spreading the love of Christ. They give so much inspiration through their transformed lives.

Activity

Singles & Professionals Ministry has a number of enjoyable and edifying activities, including: 

Bible Talk/PDA (Bible Discussion Meeting)

PDA is held once every two weeks. In PDA we can enjoy warm fellowship while discussing God's word and its application in daily life.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)

Study Bible/Bible Study

People in this community are involved in studying the Bible and helping others study the Bible. They learn about the purpose of life and what God wants from their lives. They are also shaped to become more like Christ. 

Spend Time

A personal meeting involving two people. In spend time, we can encourage one another, build faith, or explore God's word related to personal life. 

“Take care, brothers and sisters, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another every day, as long as it is called ‘today,’ so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” (Hebrews 3:12-13)

H20 (Healthy Hang-Out)

Healthy Hang Out is a shared activity such as eating, watching movies, or traveling together with the purpose of growing closer to one another in a fun. 

Retreat

Retreat is an activity where they go away together, usually to a quieter place far from the hustle and bustle, to be spiritually refreshed again. During retreat, they listen to God's word, gather together, eat, pray, and even play games together.
