Attributes of God: Day 10

Day 10

THE ALMIGHTY GOD (OMNIPOTENT)

Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything at all too hard for Me?"

The power of God is unlimited, and with our ability to imagine or describe something awesome, it is certain that it is difficult for us to grasp the meaning of God Almighty. But for God there is nothing that He cannot do. God only speaks, and everything comes to be. When creating the whole universe and arranging it in order, God only needed to speak, and the earth and the universe came into being.

Verses for Reflection:

Isaiah 40:27-31, "Why do you say this, O Jacob, and speak like this, O Israel: "My way is hidden from the LORD, and my cause is disregarded by my God?" Do you not know, and have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth; He does not grow tired or weary, and His understanding is unsearchable. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Young men grow tired and weary, and youths stumble and fall, but those who wait upon the LORD shall gain new strength: they will soar like eagles with the strength of their wings; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint."

Isaiah 14:27, "For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who can thwart it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?"

Job 42:1-2, Then Job answered the LORD: "I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted."

Isaiah 43:13, "Indeed, from eternity I am He, and no one can deliver out of My hand; when I act, who can reverse it?"

Ephesians 3:20, "To Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us"
